An S2S postback is an HTTP request from your affiliate to our endpoint: GET /tds/pb?cid={click_id}&event={reg|dep}&payout={X}&signature={hmac}. Based on the postback we bill, change the user status and trigger retention drip.
Without a signature anyone could send a fake ?event=dep&payout=10000 and:
deposited, breaking dripHMAC = a cryptographic signature of the request over a shared secret. Both sides know a 32-byte string, the partner computes HMAC-SHA256(query, secret) and adds it to the URL.
